KovaTech, LLC Terms and Conditions
KovaTech / Kova HostingKovaTech / Kova Hosting — Terms and hosting policies
PRELAUNCH DRAFT — October 1, 2026. Paid hosting and general VPS sales are closed. These proposed policies need owner review before commercial launch. Creating a billing account does not activate hosting.
Business details and agreement
KovaTech, LLC operates KovaTech / Kova Hosting. Business address: 1523 Scarborough Ct #203, West Chester, PA 19380, US. Initial support/reply contact: support@kova.tech; phone: +1 484-224-3400. TODO OWNER: jurisdiction, business registration details where required, effective date and final terms review. No tax registration is inferred.
Only an explicitly accepted service order defines a customer's package and billing period. Package descriptions must state included resources and any approved price before ordering opens. No uptime, response-time, recovery-time, or recovery-point guarantee is offered in this draft. Changes affecting an active subscription require notice and an opportunity to cancel before renewal; TODO OWNER: notice period and mandatory consumer rights review.
Acceptable use and prohibited use
Use hosting only for lawful websites you own or are authorized to operate. Keep applications patched, protect account access, and obtain permission for all uploaded content. Do not host malware, phishing, credential theft, spam infrastructure, unlawful material, copyright infringement, harassment, denial-of-service tools, open relays/proxies, cryptocurrency mining, or unauthorized scanning. Do not attempt to access another customer's data or evade resource limits. Bulk mail, mailbox hosting, public authoritative DNS, shell access, and general VPS service are not included in the website-hosting offer.
Resource use must fit the accepted package and avoid sustained disruption to shared services. KovaTech may contain a compromised or abusive site promptly to protect others and will explain the incident through the client portal when practical. Routine nonurgent issues should receive a chance to remedy before suspension. TODO OWNER: escalation/notice periods, appeals contact and payment-default schedule. No hard CPU/RAM isolation or 50-site capacity guarantee is currently established.
Support scope and onboarding
Use authenticated support tickets at https://hosting.kova.tech/support. Email notifications are not operational; check the portal for replies. Initial support/reply mailbox: support@kova.tech; phone: +1 484-224-3400. TODO OWNER: support hours, time zone, urgent incident procedure, response targets, and who monitors tickets. Do not send passwords, private keys, payment-card data, or recovery tokens in tickets.
Support covers the supplied hosting panel, hosting service availability, and assisted domain/DNS/TLS onboarding. Customer application development, content changes, third-party subscriptions, application migrations, SEO, and unmanaged custom server software require a separate agreement. Billing and Hestia panel logins remain separate. Customer domains need explicit ownership verification, edge routing and certificate setup before DNS cutover. Domain registration, email accounts, and automated domain onboarding are excluded unless explicitly added later.
Backups and customer responsibility
Keep your own independent, recent copies of website files and databases. Current platform backups are daily local off-host copies with seven retained generations; this is not off-site disaster recovery. Integrity checks and a contained demo-file recovery test do not prove full application or database restore. Restore assistance is subject to available valid copies and operator verification. Do not promise a recovery window or recoverability of every change. TODO OWNER: approved off-site location, recovery objectives, customer backup/export access, restore support and fees, retention, and full restore acceptance.
Refunds and cancellation
No payments are accepted during prelaunch. Before paid launch, each order must disclose renewal behavior, price, billing period, cancellation cutoff and refund eligibility. Request cancellation through an authenticated ticket and obtain confirmation; do not assume deleting files cancels billing. Export data before the agreed end date. TODO OWNER: refund window, prorating, renewal/cancellation notice, setup/domain exclusions, statutory cancellation rights and refund processing period. No invented refund guarantee or blanket waiver is applied by this draft.
Retention and offboarding
Confirm the authorized customer and requested termination date; offer an export opportunity before routine deletion. Revoke access and remove only that customer's domains/routes/certificates at termination after dependency checks. Deleted live data may remain in protected backup generations until their normal rotation; backups are not an ongoing archive. Billing/security records may require a separate lawful retention period. Emergency abuse containment may precede export. TODO OWNER: export grace period, live deletion timing, backup expiry interpretation, billing/log retention periods, exceptions and deletion-request verification.
Responsibility and disputes
Customers remain responsible for their content, account access and third-party applications. KovaTech remains responsible for the service it explicitly agrees to supply. TODO OWNER/LEGAL: liability terms, dispute process, governing law, age/eligibility rules, accessibility and applicable mandatory rights. This draft sets no liability cap and excludes no mandatory legal rights.
